Taking care of a piece of land is for me an act of love for all that surrounds me: soil, water, plants, animals, people. It sums up everything I\u2019ve ever been looking for in my life up until today and at the same time it represents the essentiality . I travelled the world and now that I\u2019ve finally taken root, I would like the world come here to enjoy the comfort that the contact with the nature inevitably brings sharing an extraordinary luxury: enjoying the simple things in life. The forceful call of the land involves physical and mental work but, at the same time , in the evening, when I lie down with legs and back aching, it gives me a sense of harmony and contentment.<\/p>\n

Poderaccio is dedicated to my mother Luisa who would never have lived in the country but who loved nature, to my sister, beautiful woman mediator in my family conflicts, to Pietro and Niccol\u00f2, my guardian angels, to my father, the real farmer, to my daughter Stella hoping she can live happy there. Thanks to my brother in law skeptical but helpful and finally an appassionate thanks to Francesco, my love with whom I share all the fatigue, the satisfaction, the happiness and pain given by life. Without them, anything would be possible. A big tribute to Mother Earth.<\/p>\n

Everything surrounding us speaks about living nature. The jay rests on the branch among the olive trees. The old chestnut trees are home to woodpeckers and owls. The deer graze the fields in the morning near the house. In the evening you can hear wild boars grunting. The porcupine scatters quills in the lanes and in the evening, if you lie in wait, you can see him. The cultivated fields, the rows of vines and fruit trees alternate with blackberry bushes and woods.<\/p>\n

The breathing calms down, all the senses open up, and a sense of wellbeing pervades you; the color red behind the hill invites you to dinner. Good food, made by healthy products to eat and drink, friendly chatter, stories that are nothing more than our lives, combined together, reconcile you to the world. Bring with you the people you love, is there anything better that is worth living for?<\/p>\n

In the amazing peaceful setting of Tuscan countryside \u2013 just half an hour from Florence \u2013 the farm covers an area of 35 hectares of woods, meadows, olive groves, vineyards and vegetable gardens. Our inspiring principles are the respect for the land and all living things that populate it, the conservation of soil fertility and also its improvement . We keep the land covered with grass to prevent the erosion, we do few superficial works by tractor where necessary; we leave the branches of the prunings on the ground to provide the soil essential organic supplies. We nourish the crops with organic fertilizers and compost . We treat them only with copper salts and propolis.<\/p>\n
