If you are passionate about Italian food, enjoy learning how to create traditional vegetarian \/vegan recipes like an Italian, spend some quality time learning how to make traditional sourdough bread and pizza, fresh pasta from scratch with ingredients coming from our farm and\/or neighbor farms.
It will be not only a practical workshop but also an opportunity to know more about food and get more awareness on the importance of quality food. You will learn how to choose fresh and good ingredients, how to recognize extra virgin olive oil, the social and environmental impact of food .<\/p>\n

We are lifetime members of \u201cSlow Food\u201d, a food movement born in Italy in 1986 , whose philosophy is in line with ours. Slow Food International states : \u2026we believe that everyone has a fundamental right to the pleasure of good food and consequently the responsibility to protect the heritage of food, tradition and culture that makes this pleasure possible. Our association believes and promotes the recognition of the strong connections between plate, planet, people and culture\u2026.<\/p>\n

The cooking class will include 3 hour hand on lesson starting at 9:30 am ending around 1:30 pm. During the class there will be a focus on extra virgin olive oil. You will get to know how to taste it, the characteristics of a quality evo oil through the sensory analysis .
After the class, we\u2019ll enjoy the pasta we made together, other food goodies with a lot of organic Chianti wine in a family context.<\/p>\n
